There are only so many numbers that can exist and they are nine.
One1 two2 three3 four4 five5 six6 seven7 eight8 nine9
After that everything is just derivatives of those numbers. Twelve(one two12), thirty three(three three33), sixty (six to the dominant power6 before other sets of six) and so on. This is a truth.
Ten appears to be a real number but it's not because ten is just one to the dominant factor, meaning that it is one1 as a prefix for the set of ones past the prime-- which is one1 through nine9.
Is infinity a number?
No, but infinity is likewise not special from other fake numbers/derivatives. One1 through nine9 are the only real numbers. Anything outside of these numbers is as much of a representation of infinity as infinity itself is. Every factor and derivative of the real numbers represents the potential for infinite expansion. The only limits on numbers outside of one1 through nine9 are the limits we choose to put on them.
For instance, could it be 2:60 PM? or only 3:00 PM? Why not 2:60? Why not 2:70? Why not 2:500? Why not 2:3400000000000000?
Because we need to codify our perception of time so that we can get to McDonald's on time to get a bacon and cheese biscuit. That's the only reason that numbers are "simplified" instead of running wild, as they should.
How does time relate to this?
Time is infinite and it goes on forever. It never ends. It speeds up when we are entranced and it slows down when we are bored but it continues on forever. Because it is forever, it's speed is completely relative. Something that is too vast to properly comprehend can only be accepted as such and codified in a relative manner.
∞
The symbol for infinity is a sideways eight8, a way of separating it from the number eight to avoid confusion probably. It is reminiscent of a mobius strip which is "a surface with one continuous side formed by joining the ends of a rectangular strip".
A mobius strip is an accurate representation of time. The perception of linear time is, in part, a human internalization of narrative media, particularly films. We feed the mental cinematic feedback loop of our lives and view our experience as a "story". And because a story is fiction-- outside of time-- it can be unbound by the realities of time.
Will you ever make the One Key Decision to Win The Game? Will you find the Hidden K(no)wledge that Unlocks You Infinite888 power?
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have said this before but Time is a mobius strip with lines with nodes along the edges of the surface, which expands infinitely in diameter from the point of origination.
The point of origination. If it's infinite how can there be a point of origination?
GOD.
God is outside of everything but fully immersed at the same time. It does not make sense yet completes all thoughts perfectly. God and His presence are a miracle. They are a miracle because though everything may point away from Him, though forces fight against Him and you and me, and though we experience doubt and fear; He is still true.
A miracle is something that shouldn't happen, something that can't happen, something that will never happen-- made real.
A lot of this may make no sense. Some of the things that I wrote may contradict themselves upon scrutiny. That's OK. The fact that I am able to write this and reconcile any of this is a miracle. The fact that you are reading this is a miracle.
Omnia ab Uno.
I wouldn't say time is completely relative, merely that humans have a hard time understanding it as you noted. Check out Newton's absolute time if you haven't heard of it. That's closest to my understanding of time, as opposed to Einstein's somewhat conflicting general relativity.
